So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. What a life she has had...and what memories she had gathered over her many years and many accomplishments. We send you heart to heart hugs of sympathy and friendship. Our friendship has spanned many decades and our parents were friends for as many if not more years. Your Mom was yet another "character" in the towns of Kings County for sure, Marnie. She was one of the memorable personalities that filled a room when she entered Even though she lived a very long and fulfilled life it is alwats so hard to say the final good-bye. We send deepest sympathy and I will nto be able to attend any of the servises as I will be out of the country. You know I will be with you in spirit...always, Trish and Jack

Sadly we read of your mother's passing in today's paper. She was one of the South Mountain's "Originals" and leaves behind many stories and memories of good times. It's hard to believe that her generation is quickly disappearing. We will be thinking of you over the next little while. Fondly, Nancy & Warren

Dear Marnie and all. I was surprised to see Aunt Opal's obituary in the paper, this morning, although I was not shocked as I know with her condition something could happen any time. I haven't herd from you for quite a while, so I will be calling this week-end. I hope you are OK, as I know how close you two were, and I know how you knew how I felt when Mom passed on. Sometines it crosses my mind that I have to go to town and do...this or that for Mom....only to realize that she is gone. I am not sure weather I will be able to join you and the family at White Rock or not. It seem that a day trip like that really tires me out now, but we will see. I think of you often, and you know that my sympathy and love is with you all. Take care, and I will talk to you later. Give my love to the rest of the family...........hugs to all......with love, Joan.

The picture you have chosen of your mother is so beautiful - I shall remember Aunt Opal as a glamorous lady who would have fit perfectly with the show ladies performing their dancing & singing in The Follies in Palm Springs! What a lady she was!!
