One of Lois's favourite characters was Winnie the Pooh.
Walking through a woods Piglet asked Pooh.
"Where are we going Pooh?"
Pooh replied; "Home Piglet. We're going home,
because that's the best thing to do right now."
Our wonderful, kind, creative friend, has gone home.

I have fond memories of Lois teaching Sunday school at the HBC. She had such a wonderful personality and kind heart. Her love for the Lord shined brightly through her despite what she was going through. It was because of Lois and a conversation we had that led me to become baptized. I am so grateful to have known her. My condolences to her family and many friends. Rest in peace Lois xo

So sorry to hear of the death of Lois! She and I shared a room at the VG when we had our surgeries with Dr. Trites . We joked that we were the "Valley Girls" and he was our "Valley Boy"!
It was more than evident that she had great Faith and that she loved her family deeply.
She was a very special person and even though I knew her briefly she made a lasting impression.
RIP Lois (Valley Girl #1)!

Lois has always been a part of my circle of friends from early on and it seems so strange to be here without her. She was always happy to share news and her positive outlook shone through her wonderful smile, even when she suffered so.
I was lucky to share part of my life's journey with her and I am at a loss on moving forward without her. Even though we were separated by miles, I could always pick up an easy conversation with her throughout the years.
Though I know that after so many years of struggle and pain. She is finally free and at peace, I mourn for those of us she has left behind as we struggle to go forward with out her brilliant smile.
My condolences to her family and friends (and there are many) for our collective loss.
Love you my friend

Now may God hold you in the palm of his hand where you can find rest and peace at last. I will miss your kind cheerfulness so until we meet again God Bless.

Sweet Lois... we have been friends literally our whole lives. We were childhood friends in the Border... than on to school friends and as many in our group remained friends afterwards in our adult years. In later years I enjoyed our visits , you with your mom and I with mine going to mcds for tea ... No matter when we saw each other it was always just like yesterday for us. Time apart didnt matter...that's true friendship when its effortlessly picked right back up where we left off.
I am going to miss your infectious smile and later, that sweet soft voice and the most kindest heart I've ever had the pleasure to know. Rest easy Lois, no more pain or struggle.
Deepest sympathy goes out to your mom and your brother. You will be missed but you shall always be remembered fondly and that wonderful smile. I'm blessed to have had you for a friend. Rest in peace Lois.

Dear Helen, Grant, Nancy, Sarah
Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers! Lois was a very special gal who brought a lot of love and laughter to all she met. We always had a great time at HBC and Choir practice was an especially fun time with music, laughter and giggles and good friends.
Lois showed great love and care for her family and for all her extended family at HBC. I am thankful for the time our paths crossed, and the many great memories I will keep of her.
May the Lord be your strength and comfort and fill you with the hope of glory! I am thankful to know that we will see Lois again in eternity. I'm sure the halls of heaven have gained a lot of laughter in the last few days! May her memory fill your hearts and minds as you celebrate her life.
