Obituary of Ronald Francis Robinson

Age 83, of Falmouth, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. He was born in Windsor and was the son of the late Wilfred and Frances (Crowell) Robinson. Ron grew up in Windsor and spent his career in the Canadian Air Force. Ron enjoyed country living and spending time in the woods. He loved animals and had several fur companions over the years. Ron had many wonderful friends who visited regular doing things that enabled him to stay at home over the past year. Thank you to all of those people. Ron loved music and was an excellent guitar player. Ron is survived by his sons, Wayne and Wade Robinson; stepsons, Chip, Tom and Barry Peterson; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife and best friend, Carole Peterson (November 25, 2019); may they walk in peace together. Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A private funeral service will be held Thursday, January 14 in DeMont Family Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Tom Henderson officiating. Attendance is by invitation only due to current COVID-19 restrictions. A webcast of the service will be available starting at 10:55 a.m., January 14.
