I met Velma back in 2012-2013 through Kenny and Joe(Lanze) but got to know her quite well ,over the years ..and visited when we could ,either when she was in the rehab in Hfx or their place in Avonport and or their apt.in Windsor. .I couldn't help but laugh at Velmas quick comebacks and wit when she spoke about /to different people ..like Kenny , Larry and then Joe especially when I went away for a week and he stayed with her and Larry (while doing some work to the inside of their house. Velma had a HEART of gold ..RIP my friend and here's hoping we get to meet again ..Thoughts and prayers being sent to ALL family members , especially Kenny and Larry
