So sorry to hear of Wally's passing. I've known him for years, but most recently I spent a lot of time with him at The Windsor Elms. He was a kind, funny man and I will miss him. May he RIP.

To Walter's Family: I have known Walter for many years, and enjoyed his company , along with my Mother....Jean Allen. Mom and Dad(Gerald)visited with your Mother and Walter at thier home in Windsor and while they were at the Elms, Dad passed away in 1998, and Mom just this year in Sept.Seems funny that Walter passed so close to Mom. Thank you Sam, for taking Walter to Mom's service, it meant alot to us....his being there. I last spoke to Walter in Oct. he was in great spirits and smiling....as he always was. He will be missed by many in Windsor....especially his Tim Hortons Friends. They always enjoyed his visits. I have fond memories of Walter, the gang and Mom being at Tim's many a day ! Walter was a great guy, take care. Geraldine (Allen ) Miller .

Walter made his way through life making all kinds of friends. I was very fortunate to get to know him at the Elms in Windsor. I worked with him until he passed away. Everyone that got the chance to work with him learned to love him as well. Wally was the little bit of sunshine for a lot of the residents on Osprey 1.Wally will be so very missed by residents and staff.

My sincerest condolences to Walters family and friends. I was fortunate to know Wally during my time at the Elms. He was a pleasure to work with and was always positive even when he was not feeling well. His smile lit up a room and he will be missed by all who knew him. If there is a Tim's in heaven I'm sure he will be there with his friends that have passed before him . May he rest in peace.

We had some great times down at the quarry playing hockey which he really liked. He used to give the backbone rub with his hockey stick, we had great fun. He will be missed, you have my deepest condolences. Butch Mc Isaac
