Obituary of Ronald Allan Belton

Age 74, of Falmouth, died suddenly Saturday, April 10, 2021 at home. Born September 30, 1946 in Wolfville, he was the son of the late Allan and Margaret (Smith) Belton. Ron worked for Hayden’s Grocery, then CKF Inc. for a short time before going to work for Minas Basin Pulp & Power as a Hydro Plant Operator in St. Croix, and he loved every day of it. He loved his pets, especially his dog Scooter. Ron was an avid weight lifter all his life, having won trophies in the 80’s. Ron is survived by his girlfriend of 38 years, Cheryl Aylward, Windsor; and loyal friend and former co-worker, Jamie Carmichael, St. Croix. Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A public graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 15 in Centre Falmouth Cemetery, Town Road, Falmouth with Rev. Bill Gibson officiating.
