Obituary of Elaine Mary Parker

Age 86, formerly of Greenhill, Hants Co., passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Melville Lodge Long Term Care Centre, Halifax, with her family by her side. Born in Connecticut, U.S.A, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen Thorpe. Elaine is survived by her daughter, Lorrie Jackson; sons, Leonard (Donna) and Ernie (Gail); grandchildren, Kim, Jen, Tony, and Ryan; great grandchildren, B.J., Liam and Caleb. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Parker; daughter, Brenda; and son-in-law, Stephen Jackson. We sincerely thank the nurses and staff of Melville Lodge for her care over the past seven years. Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no visitation or service. A private family graveside service will be held in St. James Anglican Cemetery, Brooklyn, Rev. Tom Henderson officiating.
