Obituary of Deanna Annette Caissie

Age 62, of South Rawdon, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021. Born in Bistroff, France, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Rickman and Rhonda Carroll. She is survived by her brother, Sean Rickman; sister, Genevieve Harrison; as well as other extended family members. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Karl Rickman and sister, Angela Rickman. Deanna was a true animal lover. She could be seen walking her dogs daily in South Rawdon. Deanna left a paw print in every person's heart that she met. She leaves behind a community mourning of her untimely passing her passion for rescuing and adopting at-risk dogs to rehabilitate and in turn, became her companion animals was inspiring. Deanna was an advocate for the adoption of dogs, “Adopt one until there are none". A special thank you to Nancy Morrison and Sarah Ritt for their friendship with Deanna. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A private burial was held in Ste. Croix Cemetery. Now that Deanna has finally reunited at Rainbow Bridge with all of her passed fur-babies, she would ask that you donate whatever you can to your local shelter, in her memory.
