I’m heartbroken. Devin was a sweet and serious boy that grew into a caring, thoughtful man. He was always happy to help, no task too big or too small. I loved the twinkle in his eye and the smile that was quick to appear if he found something funny. He had his whole life ahead of him and I have no doubt he would have done amazing things. I taught Devin gr 10 English. He was a wonderful handful. I brought in textbooks from my university classes and we would discuss them. I gave him my copy of Stephen Hawkin's book, A Brief History of Everything. It made me smile to know he still liked quantum physics. He will be missed.
