Mrs. Easton: I was very saddened to hear about Jeffs passing. He was my Airborne hero, one of my favorite cat people, and a cherished friend. His life he lived the hard way and he still believed in the beautiful things in life. I will miss being able to jam with him and talk about things that matter. He was very bright, informed and intellectual. I will even miss worrying about him and you know what that was like. I cant imagine how you must be dealing with this. I will pray for your strength and courage and the knowledge that God is carrying us through the loss and sorrow. My deepest condolences for you and your family and best wishes for Jeff in his rookie work as an angel. Cathy Sherman

I don't know where to begin. Saying I'm sorry just doesn't seem enough when you have lost a loved one so young. So I'll just share this.I met Jeff a number of years ago and he was a wonderful friend to me. I love music and I used to ask him to play and sing for me which always cheered me up when I was feeling low. I know Jeff struggled with personal problems but he was always kind and up beat when we talked. Over the years Jeff and I lost touch but on the rare occasion that I did see him, he would smile that gorgeous smile and say hello.I trust Jeff is at peace and encourage his family to hold on to that during this difficult time. Unfortunately I will be unable to make the service, but I will be there in spirit and I believe Jeff will know that. Please take care and all the best to all of you...especially his daughter who I know he loved very much.

I was so saddened to hear about Jeff. I know the family may not remember me but I spent many a nights in the house in Sackville(way back in 1977-79) with Jeff and Dougie listening to jeff play the guitar. We kept in touch all these years. I will miss him. He had his troubles but he was a sweet guy with a good heart. I know he tried his best. My condolences to your Family on this tragic loss. I will keep him close in my heart. Lynn Murphy-Hollett

Jeff consistently kept in touch with me and asked about the family for the 3 decades we knew him. Jeff will always be remembered for his gentleness, down-to-earthness, great sense of humour, playfulness, friendliness, and entertaining with his story telling ways. My prior cats in heaven are with him now - they enjoyed his visits and attention paid towards them. Jeff's call last fall, spoke unexpectedly of universal love, his belief in God, and his life's decisions. His trials did not destroy his spirit - he remained hopeful, loving, and upbeat. Jeff would want the tears of all who loved him to end and instead remember him with big smiles and think of the good times shared thru his upbeat company. That process will come. See you again, one fine day, my good friend. I know not what took you, but you are in good hands now. Surrounded by the utmost, unconditional love we sometimes have a harder time reaching for while here on earth. Until then...
