McNEILLE, Marion "Veta" Doreen - 92, of Windsor, formerly of Ellershouse, Hants Co., passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 18, 2012, in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born January 8, 1920 in Brookfield, she was a daughter of the late George and Bertha (Clark) Watson.Veta enjoyed her family. She loved the outdoors and was an enthusiastic walker. She was fond of good music and sang in many choirs. Veta was the organist and choir director at St. Louise Union Church for 25 years. She is also a life member of the United Church Women.Veta is survived by sons, Donald S. McNeille (Sandra), Sweets Corner; Vondon B. McNeille (Jacquie), Kelowna, B.C.; daughter-in-law, Kay O’Leary, Falmouth; grandchildren, Donald W. (Kim), Christine (Scott) Lawrence, Tim (Joanna), Maurice, Candice (Craig) Reath, Jeff (Joanne), Bruce (Sherry); great-grandchildren, Donald S., Daniel, Gavin, Amelia, Cody, Tristan, Rebecca, Jordon and Will. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald W. (2008); son, G. Maurice; daughter-in-law, Leslie; brothers, William, George, Henry, Vernon, Harold, Maurice; sisters, Nina, Lydia, Willa and Lorena.The family would like to thank Emily, Harriett, Maureen, Terry, Ann and a special thanks to Polly. Also, to the Staff at Dykeland Lodge and Dr. Cathryn Smith for all their wonderful care.Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert Street, PO Box 981, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 (902-798-8317). There will be no visitation, by family request. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 21 in St. Louise Union Church, Ellershouse, with the Rev. Wendy Kean officiating. Interment will be held in Oakhill Cemetery, Ellershouse. A reception will follow in the Ellershouse Community Hall. Family flowers only.
