Over the many years that I had pastored Harold; I think of his quiet and gentle nature. Not given to many words, yet his presence was always known and appreciated.
His attendance and participation with us at Calvary Tabernacle was always an addition to our fellowship and he was greatly loved.
Congratulations on your eternal promotion my friend. We will see you again. Our thoughts and prayers remain with all the family and friends.
Harold truly one of mine.

Harold was indeed a Gentle Giant. One may question his stature in height but that was not what made him a giant. He was a giant in his integrity and character. I have many fond memories of him at Calvary Tabernacle on Windsor St and his gentle nature has been and always be a great influence on us.
We are praying for the family and look forward to seeing Harold again according to the Promises of God.

Uncle Harold was always kind, thoughtful and used his words wisely. He lived to love God, always humble and enjoyed making others happy. He cooked a mean breakfast over the wood stove. Harold will be missed by many. Rest Easy as you Spread your new wings.

So sorry to hear of Harold's passing. I know that he suffered for many years with his breathing problems. I have fond memories of going to school in Lockhartville with Harold. He could throw a ball further than most of us and run much faster than the rest of us. He was always good natured, modest and a gentle soul. He got along well with all his school mates and was fun to be with! Rick

It was my honor and privilege to get acquainted with Harold when he was going about doing things for others or giving them a lift. A quiet, dignified gentleman, at peace with himself and with his God. Whenever our paths crossed my spirits were uplifted by his shy smile and greeting. He will be
missed.
My Christian sympathy to his sisters Aileen and Audrey as well as his others siblings.
There is a new star in Heaven tonight.
Love and Prayers ~ ~ ~ Annie.
