Obituary of Francis Joseph Reddy

It is with great sadness that the family of Francis Joseph “Frank” Reddy announce his passing on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the age of 78 in Windsor. Born on April 21, 1943 in St. John’s, Newfoundland, he was a son of the late Thomas and Mary (Cooper) Reddy. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Mary (Walsh); children, Tom (Sandra) Reddy; Karen (Tim) Naugle; Mike Reddy and Chris (Kerry) Reddy; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as brother, Gerry (Marie) Reddy; brother-in-law, Jim (Diane) Walsh; sisters-in-law, Joan (Bob) Melee and Terri Reddy; a niece and nephew. He will also be missed dearly by his friends in Garlands Crossing. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Derm Reddy and nephew, Derm Reddy Jr. Frank was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland and like any good Newfoundlander, he had a great sense of humour. He loved to cook for family and friends at get- togethers. He loved watching hockey with his son, Mike and he was a Habs fan. He also enjoyed a good book and walks around the park, where he met lots of people and always left them with a smile. He could be found working out in the yard and if anyone was in need, he was always the first one there to help. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the QEII Health Sciences Centre and Hants Community Hospital in Windsor, for their excellent care and attention.
