It's 2 am and I can't believe how hard things can trigger memories.i miss u so much dad ..u were truly a amazing person.i don't think anyone could walk in your shoes and accomplished the things u did.for family, friends, the community.everyday I look at your pic and it seems like I missed a lifetime that I can only wish I could get back and beleive me the last 15 years I will always regret.in all of my 52 years I will never forget a word of our 1hr 10 min talk.always worrying about someone else.i was honored when u wanted to know if I would want to come home and be buried with u and mum.i never show emotions but that was the hardest I've ever cried in my life .I never thought the day would come when u would pass away.that was the first time in my life u and I talked about family ,growing up ,good n bad...I love u so much dad n I do know for a fact 100 percent we will meet again .I've been brought back to life 4 times in 20 years.and have seen and talked to people close to me who have passed that told me it wasn't my time.and the next day each time I was alive .even the doctors said it was amazing the amounts of carbon monoxide poisoning in my system.or the anyrism.mybest friend came to me .as a angel n explained it was not my time yet...I now we can make up for the last 15 years then.its been 2 months n I bet u already are still working hard at something on the heavenly side .heaven gained an amazing person.and I lost an amazing dad.love jeff

Marvin was one of the greatest! Working with him for those years on his dream to bring a Canadian Softball Championship to St Croix and never giving up, finally bringing one of the greatest events ever hosted in this Province, the 1998 Canadian Senior Mens and fielding a host team of our Communities finest provided our Community with memories we will never forget. I could write a book on Marvin during those times. A great man, great friend who did so much for his Community and those who live here. Softball in heaven has just reached a new level! Marvin thanks for the memories, Rest In Peace my friend!

We are shocked and saddened to hear that Marvin is gone. We thought he could go forever. Whoever wrote his obituary covered it really well. He actually did more things than we knew about. One of our fondest memories is of the wonderful french fries from the chip truck.
When we think of him now I have to smile because wherever he is their going to have great bingo.
Rest and peace Marvin
