Obituary of Donna Darlene Sanford

With broken hearts and much love, we announce the passing of Donna Darlene Sanford, age 60, on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Halifax Infirmary Site, QEII, Halifax. Born on April 3, 1962, in Windsor, she was a daughter of Donnie and the late Iona (McInnis) Faulkner.

A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, she loved spending time with her family. She would help anyone she could and was a social butterfly who enjoyed catching up with the other regular customers at Tim Hortons. She was a dedicated employee at CKF Inc. for 42 years until her retirement.

She is survived by sons, Justin, and Kyle (Nicole); stepson, Michael Laffin; grandchildren, Jacoba, Makayla, Hudson, Bentley, and Logan; great-grandchild, Carter; siblings, Joanne (Greg), Stephen (Mary), and Sharon (Lew).

Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her husband of 28 years, Roger; and son, Mark.

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A Celebration of Life for both Donna and Roger will take place on August 20, 2022, from 2-4pm at the Centre Burlington Hall, 3554 Hwy 215, Centre Burlington.
