So sad to hear of Gerry "Goodman" (as I always refered to him) passing. His last name says it all. I knew him from Germany and Shearwater. Fun and friendly was his way. Such a shame to be gone so young.

We were very saddened to hear of Gerry's passing. Gerry was our next-door neighbour in Cole Harbour when he was working at Shearwater. He was a great neighbour, always friendly and pleasant.
Our sympathy and thoughts go out to his "girls," Jennifer and Vanessa, who we watched grow up... it was very clear that they both thought the world of their dad.
Rest in peace, Gerry. You were a good guy.

Our deepest condolences to Debbie and family. I worked many years in Shearwater with Gerry. He was a cheerful and good listener. Gerry was a great leader who befriended his subordinate's and they appreciated that. Always well liked by all. I am so saddened to hear that such a gentle soul has left us far too soon. I had the privilege to work with and to get to know Gerry for a few years when he was with us in Greenwood. I am sorry to of heard of Gerry's passing, I got to meet Gerry a few times while I was a Bartender in Shearwater, He used to go on and on about how much he loved his "Sonata" . In those years it was his pride and Joy to drive.

It is profoundly saddening to learn of Gerry’s passing. I had the privilege to work with Gerry in the latter part of his outstanding career in the RCAF, and quickly learned of his passion, compassion and genuine commitment to this nation, and more importantly, helping others. May his family find peace and comfort in knowing he made a real difference in this world, for so many of us. RIP brother.

I was saddened to hear of Gerry's passing. My sincerest condolences to the family. I worked with Gerry at 433 Sqn at CFB Bagotville, Qc in the late 1990s. I had only just reconnected with him on Facebook, so am grateful for the short time I had. He was a good guy at work and always liked to smile and laugh at things whenever able.

I remember Gerry well from our time working together in 12 AMS Shearwater. We shared the same original trade of Instrument Electrical Technician and had much in common. He had a huge personality and a easy-going manner that made him so memorable. I know that he will be missed by those that knew him and worked with him. Another veteran gone too soon.

A major piece of the Bonhomme family has left us to go to the other side to meet his parents. Gerry, you remain in my heart and i will never stop talking to you even though you cannot answer me. Gerry was a loving person who would do anything for his family and did everything to put a smile on your face. Only now has that smile temporarily disappeared.
