We came to know Steve through Jane. They were supportive of each other in their work and life choices and proud of their accomplishments.
Steve was a caring and committed family man; one who was always eager to help others. His quiet demeanour and sense of humour made him approachable and well liked. Steve had broad interests; mechanics, carpentry, and music to name a few.
He loved playing his guitar with his friends in Fox Mountain.
He shared his interests with friends and family and for that reason he will be missed. Here’s to Steve.

Although I didn't know Stephen well (different generation) I've known his Mom and Dad for many years both through the church and as (almost) neighbours. I knew how caring Stephen was to his family and the quiet, gentle manner he had when he spoke. In recent years, as his dad's health began to decline, Stephen helped tremendously in keeping his parents' home looking immaculate. I know how much he helped through the many summer evening discussions I had with Bill and Yvonne throughout these past years.
My prayers and heartfelt condolences to Stephen's family and loved ones for their sudden loss. May he rest in peace.

There are no words to express how sorry we were to hear of Steve's passing. Although we only knew him for the last 6 years, he was a friend to everyone. He helped anyone at anytime and never batted an eye.
He was the go to guy to get things fixed or just advise on how to go about doing something, he was the builder and even did windows, he was a teacher of his skills, he was the entertainer , and just an all round nice nice man taken far too soon. The Fox Mountain family will miss him deeply.

I can’t even begin to express how sorry I am to hear of Steve’s passing . There are no words to make it better or justified but please know the Ross family is thinking of you at this difficult time and if there is anything we can do for you please please let us know. We all have such fond memories of Steve from camping days and washer toss and of course our favourite listening to Steve sing around the camp fires.
