Obituary of Kevin John Keddy
It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Kevin on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at home in Aylesford, at the age of 64. Born in Berwick on March 30, 1958, he was the son of Pearle (Collins) and the late John “Jack” Keddy.
Kevin was born, raised and resided on the family property that had been handed down through generations in his family. He spent over 30 years as a manager of multiple departments at Weavexx. Upon retirement, he was able to spend more time enjoying his woodworking. He loved boating, carpentry, cottage time with campfires, travelling, visiting the ocean, attending events with his grandchildren and riding four-wheelers, side-by-sides and motorcycles.
Besides his mom, he is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie (Oldford); daughters, Janelle (Bryan Gonano), Krista (Raymond) Hill and Vanessa (Devin) Weihers; adored grandchildren, Hailey Elizabeth, Emma Marie, Brooke Isabelle, Matthew David and Chelsea Ann; sister, Shelley (Stephen) Joudrey; nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2022, in Morristown Community Hall, 10 Prospect Rd., Morristown, Rev. Chad Clements officiating, followed immediately by a reception. Masks are encouraged. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kevin may be made to Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia - Mount Hope Centre, 1120-300 Pleasant St., Dartmouth, NS B2Y 3S3 or to your local SPCA.
