Dear Heather & family: So sorry to hear of Wayne's sudden passing. Mom called us and told us. We have been in northern Manitoba since the 8th of Dec. with Kevin and his family and we are not returning home until the 10th of Jan so unfortunately we will not be able to attend the funeral. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this very difficult time. Hold on to all those wonderful memories.

I am truly sorry to hear about Wayne. Still can't believe it. He was one of my first friends when I started driving for Eassons 18 years ago. We travelled out west many times together. He taught me everything about trucking. His sense of humor and smile will live on in mind.

Wayne's sudden passing was a complete shock, it seems like just a few weeks ago since he delivered his last load here in Labrador, even though it has been quite a few months. His sense of humour and smiling face will be missed by us all. He was a wonderful person to deal with and we were really hoping to get the chance to see him again sometime in the near future during one of our visits to NS. I, personally, have known Wayne all my life...we grew up together, went to school together, played together and worked together for 37 years.
