But God knows your grief as well because of the loss of His Son who was offered up for us. Anthony was, at one time, my very best friend. The years caused us to drift apart, as happens alot. I will never forget him, his outlook on life is one that can never be matched. We spent many hours discovering "life" as teens do, and I consider it a privilege to have known him. My thoughts go to your family at this difficult time.

Tony was truly one of the best people I ever met. I was honored to be one of his first friends when he moved to Edmonton and lucky we became such close ones. He was an exquisite machinist and incredible friend. He had the best sayings ever, like "the guy was so drunk he would throw stones at his own house"! LOL! Truly blessed to have so many fond memories of Tony from summer races to Christmases and concerts. Deepest sympathies to the family of this most amazing human being. So thankful for given the opportunity to be in his life.

I am saddened by the loss of Anton, but glad that he found success in life, and that he pursued the things he was passionate about. I went to high school with Anton, we were in the same grade, and I had many classes with him. All of my memories of him are good ones. I remember he was well-liked by everyone around us in school. After graduating, we all tend to go our own separate ways as adults to find success in our lives. But, the bonds that we create while growing up, especially growing up in the valley, stay with us. I think he's touched many lives without realizing it, mine one of them, just by him "being". I will miss him greatly.

We were very shocked to hear of Anton's passing. He and my husband worked together in Edmonton and became good friends during that time. Anton was always kind and fun to be around. He was a loyal friend, that you could always count on. We have a picture of him on our fridge along with some of the other "boys" from out West, that now will have extra meaning. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Hugh Dorton posted a condolence
To Tony's family, I just recently found out about Tony's passing. I worked with Tony at the rig shop for about a year. I have been in and out of the machinist trade for the last ten years. Your son taught me a lot. I left the rig shop last May to go back to work in construction. One of the last things he said to me was that we would make chips (metal chips) together again. I thought we would. I cannot believe it will not happen again. I just found out this week that Tony passed. He was the most unique character I have met. I know that he didnt get to see you guys much. I want you to know that there are many people here in edmonton who will miss him. Anytime I do any machining or mechanical work I will think of him. He wanted to be the person who signed my apprenticeship papers. I wish he had that opportunity. There are certain things and practices I follow when machining that I will always call tony's way. I know there are no words to alleviate the pain of losing a son, but I want you to know that Tony was a good man no matter what his situation may have been. I will never forget him. Deepest condolences, Hugh Dorton.
