Obituary of Mary Anne Marsters

Mary, lovingly know as Anne by family and friends, passed away peacefully, at the age of 76, on Friday, January 27, 2023 in Wolfville Nursing Home, Wolfville. Born in Hantsport, she was a daughter of the late Frederick “Fred” and Laura (Lane) Marsters.

Anne spent most of her adult life in Calgary where she enjoyed a long and rewarding career in office administration, working for various organizations. She returned to Nova Scotia upon her retirement. Anne will be remembered for her no-nonsense attitude and love of all things feline.

She is survived by her sister, Geraldine “Gerry” Kitchen, Richmond, BC; nephews, Robert and John; niece, Dorothy and several cousins.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brother, Robert “Bob” and brother-in-law, Hal Kitchen.

We would like to thank the staff of the Wolfville Nursing Home for the care given to Anne over the last few years.

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport.
