Obituary of Kevin Howard Dimock
It is with heavy hearts that we the family, announce the sudden passing of Kevin on Monday, March 6, 2023, at the age of 60, in Windsor. Born on September 3, 1962 he was the son of Diana (Hart) Dimock, Scotch Village and the late Kenneth Dimock.
Kevin was a man of many talents. During the day he went to work for Mitch Brison working on any and every vehicle Mitch brought in, then came home at night and built all the things he could think of out of wood, especially wooden trucks with moving parts. Every day he would come home with stories about what Mitch, Seth or Fletch did that day. You could find Kevin alongside Tammy at any beach looking for beach glass or other treasures, scoping out yard sales looking for M&M machines to add to his collection or doing anything and everything he could to help anyone in need.
Besides his mother, he leaves behind his close friend, Tammy Whitehead; son, Mitchell Dimock and his mother, Lorene Dimock; his daughter that he never got to meet, Karalynn (Jacob) Boisvert and her daughters, Sarah and Hannah; sisters, Katherine (Denis) Lavoie and Karen Dimock (Randy); many sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews, Michael, Grace, Erik, Danika, Gabriella, Jorja and Dawson, whom he loved dearly.
Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A burial will be held at a later date in Scotch Village. Donations in memory of Kevin may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, 5657 Spring Garden Rd., Box 245, Halifax, NS B3J 3R4.
