So saddened to hear of Irene’s passing and send my sincerest condolences to Larry and Tim and Tony and their families. I spent many happy hours with Irene whether we were playing card games or sharing time over Earl Gray tea at Timmies. Although I only knew Irene for a few years after I moved to New Minas, I considered her a special friend and am comforted to know that she is no longer struggling with her cancer but she fought a courageous battle and we lost “one of the good ones” with her passing. She was so very proud of her sons and their families and I hope special memories will help them through their loss.
