Paula was ever so kind and helpful to me when I started at NSCC, she was always so patient. Sometimes we laughed so hard it hurt, she had an amazing sense of humour and I will never forget her. She will be missed dearly.

I was the Mechanical Drafting teacher at Hants Campus from 1994-1996, taking over for Art Mumford after he retired. Paula was the first person I would see every morning after a long commute from Truro. She would always do something to make my day - smile, tell a joke, find a motel room for me if roads got too dangerous to do the commute. Students loved Paula and she knew all of them by their first names. She was indeed, a very special lady.
Please accept my sincere condolences.

Dear Margo, Mark & Family. I was a coworker of your Mom's for many years at the NSCC and was so saddened to hear of her passing. We could always count on Paula for a big smile and lots of laughs. She could really tell a story. We all looked forward to her visits after her retirement and now her laughter will ring out, not in the halls, but in heaven above where she will again make others smile. Know that your Mom treasured you both and spoke of you and her grandchildren with so much love. May she rest in peace. With Deepest Sympathy, Debbie Munro

Mark and Margo there are no words to say how stunned I was to hear of the loss of your mom, my aunt Paula. I really wish that I would have seen her when I was home last September, but she did not make it to Liverpool. She was truly a beautiful person and will be missed by many. Losing a mom is one of the hardest things to go through and I feel your pain. It has been a year this month on the 7th that I lost my mom and it still hurts. Mom will be there waiting for her with open arms and so will Uncle Larry, Nannie and Grampie. Stay strong and hold her in your hearts. RIP Aunt Paula

I had the privilege of working with Paula for several years at NSCC. She was so friendly and kind. Her big smile was generously given to everyone she saw, and she kept us laughing with all of her humorous observations. I’ve thought of her often since she retired. I’m grateful to have known her.

I first met Paula at Hants Campus, NSCC. She had a larger than life personality and she filled the halls with her wonderful laugh. Everyone loved Paula. She knew every student by name and would go above and beyond to help anyone in need. She loved her children and grandchildren deeply and spoke so highly of them. My deepest condolences to Margo and Mark and their families. She will be missed by many.

Paula was a dear friend and we spoke on the phone all most every day. Her love for her family was endless and she so proud of her grandchildren. Her family was her blessing and she treasured them. She was always there to offer a helping hand or just listen to my problems. She made you feel like everything was going to be ok. We had endless laughs and some of the craziest conversations ever. She had to most contagious laugh and was the life of any get to gather. She loved people and meeting new people was her claim to fame. She seemed to know everybody and left everyone with a smile. I can not express how much I will miss our daily chats and sadden that we will not be able to do those road trips we spoke of after my retirement. I was so lucky to have had her as my friend and confident. Rest in peace my dear friend.

My heartfelt condolences on the passing of your mother Paula. My late husband Arthur was drafting instructor at the Windsor Community College when your Mum was working in the office. I also taught the business program for a short time & was enrolled in the CNA program at Hants Campus. She was always very joyful and fun to work with. I have many fond memories of your Mum. RIP dear Paula.
