I was his home care attendant for a year.
Took him for walks around the yard, showing me his apple tree, his garden and noseying about at the various cars in the yard and buildings out back.
Loved having his fire going.
He was a kind soul who could make me laugh as easy as surprise me.
He will be truly missed...

My condolences to all the Curry’s and their extended families for your loss.
Bernard was larger than life and he will be missed.
I was always amazed by what he could accomplish. Nothing stopped him from getting a job done!
I remember going up to the house and finding him working with Jamie, jacking up the end of the house to fix the sills or something. I remember seeing the jacks in the ground.
Another time while at Dwight & Joy’s, I looked up to the house and saw Bernard on the roof fixing shingles. We had just had or were expecting high winds.
Then there were the times I would go up to get shaving to use for my horse’s bedding. He would be working the planer.
I have enjoyed many a supper at the house with Bernard and all the family. I was always welcomed and made to feel at home.
Remember, keep him in your heart and his memory will never be very far away.
