What a shock ,I was just talking to Judy two days before she passed away.My sincere condolences to her family. She will be dearly missed.We had been friends for 70 years.At one time we were known as the Lockhartville twins, if you saw one, you saw the other. She even waited to start school with me. I was always at Judy’s when we were growing up. Had many Sunday drives with Judy and her parents. She always went to sleep. I’d be talking to her parents about wherever we were. When we were adults we went camping in Whycocomagh. Walked to the top of the mountain, stopped to pick some wild strawberries, nearly picked a snake. Bet everybody in Cape Breton heard us screaming. I have tons of good memories of Judy. She would have a lot of me too. Some would start with oh my g. !!! Rest In Peace Judy.

Condolences to my best friend Eddie and the family. Judy was a loving and caring woman and always treated me like a son whenever I was around her, and will be truly missed by all who was fortunate enough to know her. She was always baking something, so I never left there hungry. After not seeing her for quite awhile she showed up at my door a few days before last Christmas with bags full of homemade cookies because she thought of me as she was baking. That's the kind of woman she was, always thinking of, and feeding others. My thoughts are with the family in this difficult and sad time.

It truly was a shock to learn of Judy 's death . My Condolences goes out to Eddy , Melissa and Brandon ,and Judy's family although Judy was Brandon's Grandmother he thought of Judy as his Mom and she thought of him as her son . .. Judy and i go way back we shared many a good times and a lot of laughs . we also talked about our struggles through life, Judy did endure some pretty stressful struggles but she was a tr-upper and she handled them the best she could ,She loved her children and she worked hard to provide for them , She had the biggest heart she was kind caring and thoughtful . I cant be leave she gone ...Judy truly was a women who gave of herself fond memories of her will be remembered by many who enjoyed Judy's music at three mile plains hall where she entertained us with her beautiful voice .For me it was a honour to have known her and to call her my friend I will cherish her memory as I know you all will. Your mom was a loyal and loving Mom . A caring Grandmother and any one who became her friend will tell you she was a dedicated friend ..How wonderful it was that you and your children was able to have enjoyed her presents to her seventy three years .. I was very young when i lost my mom to a car accident, i dont remember her at all as i was to young but I was very fortunate in having a Aunt and Grandmother who cared enough to care and love me and help me be the person i am today . May you all find comfort in the beautiful memories she left behind and may you all draw strength in each other and those who care ... My sincere Condolences to you all ... Rest in Peace Judy till we see each other again

So sad to hear of Judy's passing. I just spoke to her a few weeks ago at the grocery store. So many memories over the years growing up in Hantsport seems like she was always there in my life in some way. When I was hanging out with Eddy at the house or working with her and Garnet down at the CKF lots of good times. My condolences go out to Eddy, Melissa and the family during this difficult time.
