I was so sorry to hear of (Aunt) Carmella's passing; my thoughts are with Oren and Heather and the rest of the family. I'm glad I was able to pop in and visit Mella last month - it had been too long. I'm grateful for all the happy memories I have of growing up with her in Scotch Village; mostly of Sunday School at the Newport Baptist Church, but also of the many hours I spent playing with Heather when we were little, or listening to music when we were teenagers. Carmella was always very generous and happy to have me around - taking us bowling, or swimming, etc. She will be missed.

Carmella and I were more than sisters. We were best of friends. We had lots of laughs playing cards and singing on the veranda when Jerry would play the guitar too many memories to list. I love her and miss her.

Carmella will forever hold a special place in my heart for her role in my childhood through community play groups , Sunday School , and Bible School .
