Dear Susie, Ian, Claire, Warren and families. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of Bushy. Sometimes we can't explain why things happen.. My memories of Bushy are in the rink but also one particular day he took me fishing when we were looking at a property owned - Wendell would never take me fishing but Bushy did and I caught a fish, We had so much fun that day...picniced on the lake side..fishied and he drove the boat like a mad man down the lake...wish I could find the picture. I know Wendell has alot more memories than I because they would have wood talk... Memories are good to have cause you can hold them in your heart. My sincere condolences to Suzie, Mark and the entire Johnson family. I was fortunate enough to have been able to spend quality time with Bushy on a couple of occasions prior to his passing. He was one of a kind and a true warrior to the end. He will be truly missed. RIP cousin until we one day will meet again.

Susie and family,
We were so sad to hear of Bushy’s passing. We have many fond memories of him as a neighbour and friend. Phil especially has memories of getting wood from his wood lot and stopping to chat with him in his garage. He was always puttering away at something and had many stories to tell. To the families of Byron “Bushy” Johnson
I was so sorry to learn of Byron’s recent passing. Although I may have only met him once or twice, when he was visiting his parents in Hantsport. I taught with his mom Charlotte for many years and she loved to relate stories and his love for the woods. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his family. My thoughts are with all f you during this difficult time. May he rest in peace in his ‘happy place’.
