I am so sorry for this great loss. Betty was basically my kids suragote mother when they were at WRHS. If I forgot to sign a permission slip she did it for me. Betty Ann was my hero. I remember attending her wedding and thinking that I wanted to be just like her. Over the years, we stayed in touch, in fact, she visited us in Fort Worth, Texas in the early 90’s and we laughed and told stories the entire visit.
She always was quick to tell me that she loved me and ALWAYS asked about my family. Every visit home included a supper at her house and she would slip me a $20 for my grandson . She inspired me to be a better person, not only from her wise words, but her actions. We talked 2 weeks ago and stayed in touch through texts until last week. I will miss her so very much. Heaven has gained a precious angel!

I enjoyed my time working with Betty for many years. She was always incredibly kind and caring and would often reward my efforts with a homemade apple pie. (Although I think it was more for Sheldon then myself.) I also enjoyed my encounters with her when my son was in school and most lately while helping Laura. The world has lost a truly special one.
