Thinking of you all at this sad time. I have known Janet since I was a little girl having attended the St. James Anglican Church Sunday School as a child and through her work with the Brooklyn Fire Department Auxiliary. Janet was a true volunteer in every sense of the word as she loved helping people and and serving her community. I have great memories of Janet from when I was very little. When we would visit, I would love going into her room because she had a little rocking chair that I would rock in. One time when they were all going away,Janet said I could bring the little rocker home to take care of while they were gone. It is a memory I will never forget. She was a great cousin!

May I add my sincere condolences to Garnett and Janet’s family at her passing. I also have known and admired Janet for many years.
