Obituary of Roseanna Edith Bullock

Age 76, of Gladys Manning, Windsor, Hants Co., passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 23, 2015 in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born on January 5, 1939 she was a daughter of the late Moyle and Thora (Barkhouse) Whidden. Ann was an amazing mother and grandmother and was a hard working lady; she will be dearly missed by all her family. Many days she could be found in the kitchen baking, cooking and pickling which she so loved doing. Ann enjoyed her years living at Gladys Manning and loved the company of her friends she made while there. She loved to spend her evenings with the Gladys Manning Band "The Misfits". She is survived by sons, Richard (Karen) and Darrell (Cheryl); daughters, Susan Porter (Kevin Ettinger) and Gail (Ernie) Parker; grandchildren, Matthew, Adam, Mitchell and Carter; brothers, Havey (Christine) Whidden and David (Anitra) Whidden; sisters, Francis Diamond, Sheila (Bruce) Gilbert, Barbara Whidden (Richard McCabe) and Vicki Whidden (Michael Hingley). Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence in 1997. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert Street, P.O. Box 981, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 (902-798-8317). No visitation or service will be held by request. A private burial will be held at a later date in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor.
