Dear Carole,
I am truly sorry to hear that your dear mother has passed away. You certainly will miss her. You have been a wonderful daughter to her. so devoted and caring. This does help a great deal with easing the loss....just knowing you were always there for her....you will have no regrets, for sure.

Carole, Gary and family. I am so very sorry to hear of Aunt Geo's passing. She is the last of all the Morehouse aunts and uncles and she will be sorely missed, especially her unfaltering energy and stamina. Still playing golf at 92, such an amazing woman! I am sorry but I cannot be there for her funeral as the Inn is open and busy but please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am a second cousin or third of Georgina. My Mom was Gertrude (Denton) Trask and her mom was Lottie (Morehouse) Denton and Evelyn (Morehouse) Trask. from Little River, Digby Co. My Mom and Dad sold their house in Little River in 2003 and moved to stay with us in Halifax. Georgina often phoned my Mom, they supported each other until Mom passed away in 2010 at 94 years old. At that time it was comforting to Mom to have their phone calls. Georgina was a great lady and I enjoyed hearing about her many enjoyments of golf and bowling. She will be truly missed. I married Art Sabean in 1958, we have two growup children, we have three grandchildren and we have four great grand children. I would like it very much if we someday good talk about our relatives.

So sorry to learn of your Mother and Grandmother 's passing. I always enjoyed talking to her when I saw her at the Town Office or Post Office or around Town. She was such a pleasant and active person and she made it to one hundred years! What a great milestone to reach. You all must have lots of wonderful memories of her.
