Words, however kind, can’t mend your heartache, but those who care for you share your grief and wish you comfort and peace of mind. My condolences.

Q: What will you never forget about Grant?
A: I didn't know Grant well but we lived on Wentworth Road when they did and got to know his children. Especially Pam. Was heartbroken when Dean was taken so suddenly. I know he was a hard worker as is his wife Irene. Sending prayers and hugs to all his family. He is at peace now.

Sending my sympathy to all of Grant’s family. I have many fond memories of my cousin Grant from growing up almost next door to him in Stanley. I remember him helping my brothers Donnie and Buddy split wood at our house and I remember how he used to visit his Aunt Hortense, my mother, when she was in the Windsor Elms. She loved his visits and loved that he would bring his family with him. She would tell me how proud he was of them and she was happy to know he was happy and doing well. I am sorry that I can’t attend his service tomorrow but sending my thoughts and prayers to the family. Linda Cochrane MacKinnon

Forever the kind caring great grandad, the first thing you’d always ask me is “how are the girls.” How lucky am I that you were there to meet my girls. As they grow, they may not remember you, but I’ll be there to share our stories.
My memories with you will visit me in the smell of coffee and cut grass, and in the smiles of my own girls. I cannot possibly miss you more than I do today, and yet, tomorrow I will.
Love always, Cody, Hannah, Norah, Lena Atkinson
