Forever the kind caring great grandad, the first thing you’d always ask me is “how are the girls.” How lucky am I that you were there to meet my girls. As they grow, they may not remember you, but I’ll be there to share our stories.
My memories with you will visit me in the smell of coffee and cut grass, and in the smiles of my own girls. I cannot possibly miss you more than I do today, and yet, tomorrow I will.
