Dear Jeanette and all Hamilton kin, For the past 47 years Malcolm has been a significant part of the Hennessy McGray family. Over the years he worked with four generations and became largely a part of the fabric, support and culture of this old farm. Not only did he work with us, he attended our family reunions with his ponies and provided enjoyment for all. We shall all miss his presence amongst us, and feel very privileged to have had him in our midst for so long. Malcolm was special and a real treasure. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Malcom was such a wonderful extension to the Shanks reunions over the many many years . My children ,grandchildren ;and great grandchild had great admiration for.. the [cowboy] as they perceived him to be. in his wonderful western attire.. The reunion was never complete until Malcom arrived. I had been away for some years, and when attending the reunion that year , Malcom took me all over the area to see all the new homes, etc . I felt privleged to be offered this tour,, as he was very busy that day ,, with everyone clammering to have a buggy ride .Malcom will stay in the hearts of many. for many years to come.. So sorry he had to leave . Our sincerest condolences to all Malcolm’s family from the Avon Pony Club. This photo was taken on April 29th, 2023. Where Malcolm was presented with a certificate of appreciation for all his hard work for so many years. The cooler was donated in honour of Malcolm and will be presented at the Windsor Spring Horse Show May 18th, 2023.
