I had the privilege of calling on Arnie while his Ford Credit Canada representative from about 1989 off and on until the sales of his dealership. Arnie was a gentleman. He was always the same. That honest smile and calm demeanour. I looked forward to seeing him. It never seemed like work. Thank you for helping me navigate through my career Arnie.

I remember Arnie as a great neighbor, both as a family man and as a business man. The only time that we had a difference of opinion was over who was going to move the dead skunk from the middle of the road.

My deepest condolances on the loss of Arnie. He was the best neighbour anyone could ask for and I shall miss him. He and Helena were such a great couple and I enjoyed our visits and chats. He had such a quiet wisdom but always with a wealth of stories and of course he loved a good laugh. He lived a long life and was loved by all.

My condolences to Arnie's family. As a former neighbour Arnie was always good to me including giving me rides to school and as a client in my paper route. Arnie and I also were two of the oldest members of Avon valley Golf course as I believe we both joined the year it opened and saw each other frequently on the course.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of Arnie when he owned the car dealership. I used to go there with my father and learned a lot about the art of negotiation from my father and through our interactions and meetings with Arnie. Dad purchased several vehicles there and eventually I negotiated a deal for my parents as a teenager. He sold me my very first new car and several others through the years. He was always very kind, fair and professional. Thank you, Arnie. You will be missed.
